What is Voksi?

The journey of Voksi began in 1985 when a Norwegian mother and entrepreneur created the first extendable sleeping bag for babies that allows the bag to grow with the child - this thermal bag is long-lasting and remains a safe haven for babies up to the age of 4. The name comes from the Norwegian word “voks i” - to grow inside.

Proven safe materials

It all starts with choosing the right combinations of materials. In the thickest models of Voxy thermal bags, in addition to down and feathers, wool is used at the bottom, as it insulates heat even when wet. Down, on the other hand, is ideal for creating comfort, lightness and warmth. The materials used by Voks have been tested to be safe for the child and animal welfare has also been taken into account in their production.

Ökö-Tex® Standard 100

Our products are Ökö-Tex® Standard 100, Class 1 certified, so you can be sure that their parts are safe and traceable. Every thread, button and fabric is tested for harmful substances.

Class 1 certification is for products that come into contact with the baby's sensitive skin, such as thermal bags and baby clothes. The Ökö-Tex® standard requirements and permitted levels for chemicals are more stringent than those required by the authorities.

Responsible Wool Standard (RWS)

The wool used by Voks is certified to the Responsible Wool Standard, which ensures the welfare of the sheep and the responsible farming of the land they graze. The RWS certification also guarantees that the wool is mulesing-free.

BIONIC-FINISH® ECO

BIONIC-FINISH® ECO is an ecologically water-repellent treatment that results in a water-repellent surface that acts like bird feathers. When you purchase BIONIC-FINISH® ECO coated Voksi®, you can be sure that the materials around your child do not contain hazardous substances such as hydrofluorocarbon or formaldehydes.

This technology uses hyper-branched, hydrophobic polymers with branched structures resembling the tops of trees. The treatment does not contain hydrofluorocarbon, so it does not release fluoro-organic compounds into the atmosphere - safe for both the child and nature.

Voksi thermal bags provide your child with water-repellent protection, comfort and breathability. The coated surface material also has excellent wear and abrasion resistance year after year.
