Making a Return
- Always notify us of a return in advance at verkkokauppa@lastentarvike.fi. The notification must be made within 14 days of receiving the product..
- Pack the products carefully, preferably using the same packaging they were delivered in. Include a completed return form or a handwritten note with the return, detailing the returner's contact information, reason for the return, products being returned, order number, and the original shipping list of the products. When returning a car seat, the seat must be in its original packaging, and the original labels must still be attached.
Please do not make any markings on the product’s original sales packaging! The product’s sales package should be protected during the shipment, and for example, postal customer return labels should not be attached directly to the sales packaging.
- Take the package to the Post service desk with the code 633047 - Returns are sent as a Post customer return, so take the package to a Post service desk and say it's a customer return for Lastentarvike. The contract number is 633047. The return must be sent within 14 days of making the return notification.

Always ask the Post service desk for a receipt for the return, and keep the receipt until the money has been refunded to your account.
Note that not picking up your order is not a customer return!
If you want to return a package that has arrived at the post office, you must follow the instructions above, meaning you need to go to the Post to receive the package and tell them that you want to send it back as a customer return to Lastentarvike.
For uncollected packages, we charge a 15 euro processing fee.
You can also return the products to the store where you picked up your order. Shipments delivered by post can also be returned to the nearest store.
Processing returns usually takes 14 days.
The money will be refunded to the original payment method, and the postage will be added to the refundable amount if you return all the products you ordered.
14-day cancellation right
When you order products from Lastentarvike’s online store, you have a 14-day cancellation right under consumer protection law, which starts from the day you receive the package.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to products whose opened packaging cannot be resold for safety or hygiene reasons.
To use your right of cancellation, products must be returned unused, in sellable condition, and in their original packaging. Any labels and seals must be intact.

Returns must be notified to us within 14 days of receiving the product. The returned product must be sent back within 14 days of notifying us that you want to return it. The product should be returned well-packaged and in the same condition as when received. If the product is not in like-new condition, we reserve the right to charge the customer an amount corresponding to the decrease in value.
Some products do not have a consumer law-based right of return once the order is accepted by the customer. This limitation is based on Chapter 6, Section 16 of the Consumer Protection Act.
Return Restrictions
Hygiene Products
The right of cancellation does not apply to products whose opened packaging cannot be resold for health or hygiene reasons.
Such products include, for example, breast pumps, detergents, creams, cosmetic products, and underwear.
Returning Bundle Offers
Please note that individual items cannot be removed from a bundle offer. If you want to return just one item from a full package, the bundle offer will be void.

Damaged Products
If a returned product has been used more than what is necessary to test its features and functions, we reserve the right to charge the customer an amount corresponding to the decrease in the product's value. The decrease in value is assessed on a case-by-case basis.
If it is not possible to return the product in like-new condition, please contact our customer service immediately at verkkokauppa@lastentarvike.fi, who will decide whether the product can be returned.
Return Costs
Returns from Finland are free for our consumer customers, unless the return cannot be made through regular postal methods. In that case, the customer is responsible for the costs of the return, unless the reason is a manufacturing defect or an error caused by the Lastentarvike online store.
For international returns, the customer is always responsible for all costs and risks related to the return, even if the shipment is lost. Business customers are responsible for the costs of the return, unless the reason is a manufacturing defect or an error caused by the Lastentarvike online store.
Reclamations
Reclamations related to the order and delivery must be reported to our customer service no later than seven (7) days after receiving the order. The customer is required to check the shipment and review the instructions before use.

Under consumer protection law a consumer has two months from noticing the defect to report it. If the product has defects after use, please contact our customer service. Send your complaint via email to verkkokauppa@lastentarvike.fi.
To make handling your complaint as easy as possible, please include in your message:
- Order number
- Brand and model of the product (e.g., for strollers)
- Photo of the product's type plate (e.g., for strollers)
- Copy of the receipt (for warranty matters)
- Description of the defect with photos/videos
- Your contact information: Name, address, email, and phone number
For errors related to orders or billing, please notify Lastentarvike's customer service at verkkokauppa@lastentarvike.fi.
Lastentarvike is not responsible for indirect damages caused by product and/or delivery delays or defects. Responsibility for damage to the goods shifts to the recipient at the moment of delivery.
Other applicable terms
Certain products may have specific conditions mentioned in the product description in the online store. Product-specific terms take precedence for the sale of that product if the product-specific terms and the general terms of distance selling conflict.
