How do you sterilize an Avent pacifier?

By boiling in water:

Sterilize any Avent pacifier by boiling it for five minutes.

Microwave sterilization (ultra start, ultra air, and ultra soft pacifiers only)

The pacifiers come with a handy case that can also be used for sterilization.

Follow the instructions on the package:

1. Rinse the pacifiers and add 25ml of water to the case (there is a fill line on the case)
2. Place the pacifiers in the case and close it
3. Place the case in the microwave and run it for three minutes (700W)
4. Let the case cool for at least five minutes. The case will be very hot after the microwave cycle.
5. Pour the water out of the case.

Classic and freeflow pacifiers must not be sterilized in the case. They may be damaged in the microwave. Sterilize them according to the instructions provided with the product.
